this was made for a contest. the goal was to redesign an already existing videogame character. may choice was dr. fred edison, the evil and sometimes not so evil doc of maniac mansion 1 + 2, also known as day of the tentacle.

i first painted the illustration with gouache and changed at the middle process to digital tools, so i can brighten up the colors and get a better atmosphere.
